As someone who actually talks to a lot of transgender people, anyway, as opposed to getting my information about them from openly anti-trans sites like Feminist Current, I can't say I've ever heard them make a big issue about this. Most of them seem to have far more pressing things to worry about, like finding jobs and dealing with their family members and trying to not get killed by people with Charles's level of obsession about them every time they have to go to the bathroom.
