That is the only explanation I can think of to account for the fact that the destruction of a country -- Libya -- is passed over while a misogynistic boast is enough to bring down a public figure. Not that it will.

I of course meant "without" jfk... That is, the whole of u.s. politics over the last 60 yers gave us Trump. There is worse to follow. The "lesser evil" gets steadily more evil.
