[lbo-talk] history of association of 1933 with hyperinflation

Lingering fear of hyperinflation from the 1920s as helping lead to Nazism is often cited for German banking policies, as opposed to the more proximate Great Depression -- I think I remember this going back at least to the 80s. Does anybody have a lead on a history or analysis of this association?

Thanks
