Monthly Review Press is pleased to announce the publication of Kohei Saito's book, Karl Marx's Ecosocialism: Capital, Nature, and the Unfinished Critique of Political Economy. Saito lays to rest the notion that Marx was a Promethean advocate of the unlimited capacity and desirability of using technology to subjugate of nature. While there are those supposedly on the left who say that a Promethean approach is desirable, it will now be a lot more difficult to support their arguments with reference to Marx.
