Marxist-Humanist Initiative (MHI) is becoming a “pole of attraction” to radical youth seeking to break free from the confines and agendas of the soft-on-Trump “left.” Some of these youth will join with MHI members in a public meeting to discuss how Marxist-Humanist principles can aid the Resistance and make the left a force that fights for freedom and the rights of all human beings. The title of the event is “Marxist-Humanist Principles in the Battle of Ideas Against Trumpism & Left Accommodation.”

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 14, in New York City, between 7 and 9 pm. The venue is Room 306 of Pearl Studios, 500 8th Ave., Manhattan, between 35th & 36th Streets. Presentations by speakers will be followed by full and free discussion from the floor. (The event is free of charge, but donations will be requested. To gain access to the building, you must present an ID and sign in.)

The speakers at the meeting will be

* Daniel Buk, NYC-based policy researcher

* Anne Jaclard, Organizational Secretary, Marxist-Humanist Initiative

* Andrew Kliman, author of Reclaiming Marx’s “Capital” and The Failure of Capitalist Production

* Dan McGinty, education activist

* Aidan M. Mohan, NYC-area student
