This is very opportune. Actually it's impossible to udnerstand Kant and Hegel and the connection between them without a real study of Cassirer. Alexander Koyre, tho a little dated, is very good background reading for undersatanding the Newton-Galileo synthesis and the genesis of the Kant/Hegel dialectis (people forget that Hegel took the idea of renovating the dialectic from Kant).
