Dear Tom, I saw the spin masters on bloomberg news today and they are saying the weakness in the south american markets are greatly over exagerated. As usual, this means absolutelyfuckinnothing in real terms. As to shipping, haven't got a clue. maggie coleman mscoleman at aol.co,

In a message dated 98-08-24 11:03:30 EDT, you write:

<< Dear Maggie,

There was a report on NPR that empty cargo containers were piling up in west

coast ports---because there was no cargo being shipped in the other direction.

Can any of the LBOers confirm this report.

Sincerely,

Tom
