Suppose that there is a working class organization that is not a union, but relates to unions in its work. Maybe it is a community organization. This group needs an understanding of the unions it works with in order to decide how to act. Yet it is made up of people "who have not paid their dues." What then? Surely for them an external critique in not only possible but necessary.
