very true, people dying is not the issue, what is the issue is how and if this impacts those in power. if they can get away with it, they will, it aint about being "humanitarian" etc. It's about power, wealth, control etc. etc. "people will rise up and take power becaue of welfare cuts" (if true, might have more of an impact).
