A couple years ago on Lincoln Ave. in Chicago I saw a big gray speeding car ignore a red light and slam into a little red car. Three people (young black woman, 2 little kids) were rushed away in an ambulance. The driver of the big gray car, a middle- aged white guy, was apparently unharmed.

I also once saw a car in Uptown crash into a streetlight, it scared the wits out of pedestrians and loiterers. And I kid you not - it was a big gray car and the driver was another middle- aged white guy!

I'm thinking maybe middle-aged white men in big gray cars should be regulated up the wazoo. And their number regulated intensely. At least in Chicago.

(Sorry by the way that I don't know the makes of the cars, I'm not a driver so never bothered to learn one brand from another.)
