Media Monopolies in THE ECONOMIST this week

re: the discussions on Barnes & Noble and the general concentration of
media/entertainment ownership.

This week's ECONOMIst has a fully survey of the industry and has lovely
charts and lists of the concentrated assets of the Big Seven worldwide.
There is a also a lovely chart showing their various cross-ownerships,
reinforcing the sense of an incestuous oligopoly eating up the ownership
of the mind's assets in our society.
