Hmm, wasn't that lifted from Ridley Scott's "Bladerunner"? The Nexus were the genetically engineered super-clones being hunted down by Harrison Ford's anti-hero -- before he falls in love with a female Nexus. You know, the usual Roberto D'Aubuisson-meets-Jane Fonda kind of deal.
