Yeah, I like Drag City too. Jim O'Rourke plays a mean hurdy-gurdy. Folk Implosion was big when I was at Revolver (they recorded on Communion too). But now Lou Barlow just wants to make a lot of money and be on MTV, basically, or so I hear. What was your group's name?
And then there's a group like Dead Moon--they press there own LPs, and have been at it for a while (the story goes the husband--two of the members are married--once kicked Jim Morrison's ass in a bar brawl. That's pretty rad.) They're nice folks too, it seems--I ended up in a conversation with the drummer at a show awhile ago--he's a nice guy.
