*GASP!* Say it ain't so! Damn it, man, those Wobblies will do nothing but proselytize! I had the misfortune of getting my ear chewed off by one during a protest against Crown Oil. It got pretty hilarious at one point. When I mentioned in passing that class is more likely to unify people than identity, he accused me of protecting my "white privilege." When I told him I was Hispanic, he fell silent.

In my experience, Wobblies are shrill, hyperactive, and totally incapable of talking to workers in ordinary, bread-and-butter language. They even attack TDU for not being militant enough! Jesus H. Christ, how can anyone say anything bad about TDU?

I'm all for attacking capitalism and bureaucracy and blahblahblah but can't we put that stuff on the backburner while we do more important things like win pay raises, pension plans, and build the labor movement?
