The Fabulous Supremes and the Seminal Discision

greetings from the Deep South,

The old south echos in the silly saga of William Jefferson Clinton. I can't help pictureing the house slaves carrying the drunken master up the stairs, covering up a life of careless indulgence. Betty Currie, Vernon Jordan, the black church where Billy acted a fool. Doesn't this guy have any white people he can impose upon. Arafat in the rose garden, nice touch.

Speaking of SEPERATION OF POWERS, let's not forget that this whole box of cigars was opened up by the fabulous Supremes when they decided for Paula Jones. If Clinton is impeached it will have been the direct result of a Court decision. Until I read that Marx quote on SOP's I'd assumed it was a good thing. But of course,,,it's the ultimate bait and switch. No falling on swords expected here. We have structural deniability.

Is it only coincidence that La Scandel d'erotica is working out so well for the Big Cigars. (sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, but not often) What if *we* are in the Truman Show.

1)Campaign finance reform and managed care niggleing have been officially shelved according to certain Republicans. Will these issues even survive as campaign smoke?

2)All the neo-liberal toys, IMF,MAI, and fast track, the real issues that always reunite Clinton and Newt like teen lovers after a quarrel, are not shelved (I bet) and are lost in the noise. WHAT IF YOU MOUNTED A BRILLIANT, EFFECTIVE OPPOSITION CAMPAIGN AND NOBODY CAME?

3) Somehow I think this is helping Gore who is, you may recall, the Devil.

4) Why did Monica send her semen stained dress to her mother.

5) No one is noticing the failure of capitalism or the rush to rewrite the playbook.

6) No one is reading about Indonesian "clean coal" and our lack thereof.

Do we give the Big Cigars enough credit? The lobbying, the campaign bribes, just scenery? They're rich, they're smart, they're socio-paths and they have nothing else to do but poly-wally-doodle us all day.

>I don't want anyone with hormonally
>clogged vapors in the brain making decisions to blow us
>up. Better they should be blow

Thank you Doug for this frank admission of male hormonal irrationality. Doesn't capitalism really boil down to *suck my dick or I'll kill you*? BAN VIAGRA! Is semen the real reason Socialism never comes? (he-he)

>Leftist, in general, know what their against, don't really agree on what

This never stops the Right from stoking up the old Story Factory. Create the scene, the plot is self-thickening.

>How the hell did
>the Republicans go up to majority
>in the House after they opposed
>national health care ? They

Charles, it was the tortured, scary sounding plan that the Clinton's came up with that made this possible. About 90 congress persons sponsored a plan that polled at the top of the charts(American Health Security Act, i think) and no one, including the Administration talked about it. None of the hard-core Single-payer activists I know ever thought Clinton was being straight with his HC efforts. A bunch of them took a bus to Arkansas, right after the primary and did not receive a warm welcome) Citizens Action and some other orgs signed his dance card. All they got were semen stains too.

Also-what is WITH all these slimeballs calling Clinton's pathetic stabs at sensuality perverse, something "no normal person would do."? (Well that's true of course, but that's not what they meant.) Who are they talking to? I envision a adolescent tied up in each of their closets. Or worse.

QUERY-NPR said US backed up Dayton accord with $70 bn going to Bosnia? This true?
