I noticed great interest on LBO to the Boris Kagarlitsky's testimony to the Banking Subcommittee to the US Congress on September 10th. I initiated a correspondence with Boris this summer while in Riga.

I will be bringing Boris to Boston during the first week of November. He will speak at Northeastern University on Tuesday November 3rd at 2:00 and will speak the following day, Wed. Nov. 4th at Harvard. Please contact me if you would like any further information regarding these events. Moreover, we would like to make Boris available to other groups in Boston that week. If you have any interest in this, please contact myself, Jeffrey Sommers of the World History Center at Northeastern University at <jsommers at lynx.neu.edu>.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey Sommers
