David Rieff wrote a very trenchant essay in Harper's a few years back on the harmony of interests between the modern multinational corporation and mulitculturalism. If, as the Baffler would say, culture is business culture, Clinton looks like a prototype of Third-Wave, Wired-era business, while Bush and Reagan were definitely products of the old school.
