Odysseus slept 1 year with Kirke, then 7 with Kalupso, then went hope to Penelope and no one called him an adulterer -- though it used to bother some students. On the other hand, the kingdom of Sparta seemed to go with Helen, so even after a 10 year elopement, he was glad to have her back, but then she seemed to be a goddess. Go figure.
