Opposing the U.S. is one thing, organizing a war is another. The U.S. is reminding the EU who's the top imperialist. This may inspire the EU to think about its own foreign policy, but that's for tomorrow, which is another day.

But that's exactly what's been going on economically for 10 years. What's the logic of NATO expansion if it's not to prepare in advance for a Russian resurgence?
