"In interviews with TV news stations, Mr. Heston blamed the parents of the two boys who stormed Columbine High School, saying the presence of an armed guard on campus might have saved the lives of the students killed in the massacre. He also pointed to school permissiveness, saying the boys shouldn't have been allowed to wear black trench coats to school."
