from denver: all the people in the hospital and/or wounded were white. 9 of the 23 were women, one a teacher.

again, racism was likely a part of this, but surely not the whole thing and i surely don't think overemphasizing it if, in fact, it wasn't a major factor is going to help things one iota. simply more fuel for the already overfed fires of racism on the part of those who are overtly racist and far more than we need to douse on the slow burning fire of racism among those who don't belong to neo-nazi organizations.
