i want to clarify and correct my previous post. at least two of the dead
students were black, and one may have been hispanic.  the shooters
definately expressed racial hatred, which fact  has been mentioned in
most if not all of the accounts i have read. also, the nyt quotes the
father of one of the two dead black students as saying he thought that
if his son was singled out it was probably because of a previous
conflict with one of the shooters and not because of his race.
