I have wanted to reply to Jim H, but have been unable to find the NYT
report in the last few weeks of a recent Cornell University study in which
(I think)a most rapid evolution of pest species was documented as a
consequence of the use of genetically modified insect resistant food. The
study may serve as well as proof that, contra the creationists, there is
indeed some rather excellent empirical evidence for the theory of natural
selection! Did anyone see the report of this study or actually read it?
Couldn't find it through a couple of searches.
