False dichotomy as usual here. Max wants absolutes to support his contentions. Markets have no "plan" (false), and planning means no "real control by workers" (again false). Just how Max manages to tug all or most of the decision-making power under democracy away from workers, is quite clear: sheer definition.

Which market-like aspects to you see? From what I have read, they are adamantly opposed to any market-like aspects, as one of their central arguments is the built-in bias and alienation associated with even limited markets. Perhaps I've missed something...
