I understand that three checkout clerks in Bangor Maine are more concerned with the altitude of the cash register than with the distribution of various kinds of beans on the shelves. The "liberals and leftists" that obsess Wojtek are of even less importance in "the left" (such as it is) than those rumored checkout clerks. Wojtek ought to stop worrying about campus politics, which are of far less political impace (even during the '60s) than he seems to think.
