Oh yeah, the other thing is the reaction of the crowd, which cheered this stuff, just as it cheered the South African miner who quoted Marx (and someone told me the other day that the AFL-CIO PR staff told him not to do that but he did it anyway). McEntee is obviously no revolutionary. But it's interesting that he felt he had to say something like that, and that the crowd ate it up. That's part of the contradiction within labor I was talking about.
