As I stated in a previous posting, leftists should SUPPORT suburban sprawl. We can do this now, or wait until a nucleur weapon is lobbed at NY or LA. As I see it, suburban sprawl is going to happen anyway--when nukes get cheap and plentiful. Once a terrorist gets his hands on a nuke and destroys a major city, reality will sink in and millions will flee the cities in terror. People will spread, thus inreasing their chances of survival. People will have to learn, quickly, not to offend anyone in the Post-nucleur proliferation world. If they do, a nuker will retaliate. It will be a bitch of a life, that's for sure. Watch "escape from New York" to get a better picture of what lies ahead.
