Yeltsin learns well

So, instead of helping foster a in new viable constitutional democracy by
walking the country through the process of a election to bring in new
leadership, Yeltsin opts to side track the process by resigning so his
hand selected replacement will fill out his term. This is an old trick of
the bourgeoise democracies. Yeltsin has learned well from the west
and offers the world nothing new. The ones who lose are the masses of
Russian who might have had a more level playing field had Yeltsin stayed
on. He does not say this is for health reasons, so the reason is
highly political. It cold possibly lead to more challenges to the
US favored regime in Moscow. Yeltsin says he is the first to peacefully
transfer power in his country but I believe the former leader, Gorbachev
set the precedent. Sorry Yeltsin, you lose all the way around and history
will remember you well for this trickery, one even Bill Clinton would not
try.
