As a condition of renewing their contract to air the news Pacifica put language in the contract that enjoined KOOP from making statements on the air that might harm Pacifica's good name. KOOP refused and another public station in Austin (KRVX?) picked up PNN.

Pacifica has been positively shameful in its dealings with its unions.
