Oh, of course, no one's life is worth shit unless they've cut their teeth on bullshit activism. The fact that Hitchens is a witty, well-read, engaging writer shouldn't matter at all, right?

Thanks for helping me sort out my position on Hitchens/Blumenthal anyway, Ken. Before, I was somewhat ambiguous. But your diatribe has convinced me of Hitchy-poo's greatness. I hope he gets showered with media attention and his new book sells like hotcakes. I've placed an advanced order with Amazon already...
