Paula, unless you want to base your politics on a personal interview with each of about 200 million people you have to get away from this starting out with individual examples, hypothetical or real. One of the major features of capitalist culture is that it is possible to find an example of ANYTHING that you can dream up while high on speed. Those examples are worse than useless. They bring about endless political and intellectual confusion.
