for those interested in perusing stuff on one nation in australia:

[these three a few from the o.n website:]

http://www.onenation.com.au/

http://www.onenation.com.au/history.html

http://www.onenation.com.au/issues.html

here's a bit from a website that has, like most, adopted a myth versus facts response to o.n.:

http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/Senate/9220/frame1.htm

here are some other sites:

http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Rampart/7451/antrac.htm

http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring?ring=phanson;index

and here's a quote from this website [ http://members.tripod.com/~version5/pauline1.htm ], which pretty well sums up the by-now ritualised response to o.n. (despite all talk of how badly o.nn did in recent federal elections in aust, they actually got 30% of the vote, and it was only due to preference deals between all the other parties that kept them out of office)

"Check out the wierd statistics: "About 500 illegal migrants on visitor's visas enter Australia every week, primarily through our airports." which means each week, 500 people just turn up in Australia illegally!! How does ON discern these figs? AND MORE: "Consequently Australia will be 27% Asian within 25 years," Well according to the Bureau of Statistics, who collect this data, Australia will be 7% Asian by 2025, not 26%! It's a big difference."

why would these ostensible opponents of o.n. keep claiming this is a 'big difference' unless they thought 'being asian' - whatever that means - is a problem. i tell ya, i'm sick of the posing.
