here, here. so charles, what do you suppose accounts for this? i guess
it's like the feminist concern with origins of gender opp. i get the
impression, on occ, that some try to argue [not you of course] that it's
some inherent characteristic to being 'white' and i think that's why folks
are bothered by the homogenization and, i think, ahistorical understanding
of 'whiteness' i'd be interested in how you think about this, though i
know you've posted on it at other times i've not had the best of luck
keeping old posts safe from email crashes and accidental deletions.
