The Cambridge school won the debate but have so far have been losing the war. There is a good, short and readable book called *Controversies in the Cambridge Capital Debate* by G.C. Harnoncourt which summarizes the debate (someone correct me if I have the title or author wrong) The essays of Joan Robinson (6?vols) are economic and literary classics.
