Buchanan, sole voice against free trade?

Some interesting comments in today's Wall Street Journal on Patrick Buchanan: "Dwindling Populist Strain Finds a Voice: Buchanan." Excerpt:

"'I think he's likely to catch the wave,' says Robert Borosage, an analyst at the Campaign for America's Future and an adviser to the Rev. Jesse Jackson. Though economic woes in Asia and Latin America have so far exerted little effect here, 'People feel like we're right on the precipice,' adds Ruy Texeira of the labor-backed Economic Policy Institute....

"[L]iberal populists may have to settle for Mr. Buchanan as a spokesman for the losers in an economic arena dominated by support for free trade. 'I can't stand the buy, because I disagree with what he says on every other issue,' says Mr. Texeira. But, he adds, "If Pat doesn't talk about this stuff, nobody else will."

What about David Bonior, he's critical of free trade, no? Any chance he'd run for President?
