Dear Nathan,

I've been curious about Gore since the 70's and I think you can safely call him "the father of tax abatement." If you look into the internet stuff I think you will find a lot of other Democrats who played a lot bigger role than Gore. One guy comes to my mind who was soundly defeated by radical Republican Santorum in Elenor Smeals hometown. But, that's a whole other story. Is Santorum the hand and Smeal the glove?
