Well, what about the repression by yougoslavian police in 81 when Kosovo asked for a status of republic in the federation. What about the repression against the Kosovars who protested against Milosevic decision in 89 to abrogate the autonomous status of Kosovo. What about the brutal repression starting in October 97 when the students protested againts Milosevic's decision not to respect the agreement he had with Rugova to reopen schools and universities. Milosevic policies have directly helped the creation of the KLA by weakening the pacifist opposition in Kosovo. And the elections in Yougoslavia in sept-oct 97 only reinforced the radical nationalist in the government...
