I don't find "5,000-10,000" civilian dead in Kosovo "remotely believable."
At Secretary of Defense William Cohen's May 10 press conference and
subsequent senate testimony, he said 4,600 dead in Kosovo. And this is a
man who has every reason to highball the numbers. A large percentage of
those are most certainly KLA combatants.
