that might be a consideration for the editorial board of time magazine, such as it is, when making it's final decision, but perhaps not for the average voter for person of the century. the "poll" clearly states that one should vote for the person who, in the voter's opinion, most influenced the course of 20th century history, for better or for worse. hitler, while not your choice, is certainly a reasonable choice under those circumstances.
