Does that make their left opponents the pre-linguistic left? Or, less teleologically, the non-linguistic left?

I'm not sure it works out so neatly. Charles Brown is the fellow who wants to ban the KKK, and he's no postie, and the pre-/non-linguistic left's bete noire, Judith Butler, is no fan of speech codes.
