i would think it's obvious that 'seattle' is far from being a homogeneous gathering. i note that kovel is far from advocating a nationalist response, for instance. and, no, i was openly admitting being 'out of step' with a reactionary critique of late capitalism. seattle will be a mix of a range of critiques and positions. there's no reason why i should accept the national socialist fantasy that the presence of foreigners is the cause of distress.
