Ummm....What does NAFTA have to do with this?...where's the beef?

Shirley your joking.

The movie industry does exactly what all industry in the US does--export bulk labor cost, i.e. exploit some other, cheaper, more docile labor pool and avoid US regulatory mechanisms in business, labor, environment, and health law.

As a neat by-product, this so-called global trade system enforces through its export dependency on US capital and jobs, US imperialism, thus cutting back on costly military engagement in the Imperium. The culture industry as ideological vehicle sells the whole system back to the rest of the world as their wannabe lifestyle.

Geeze, Brad, what are you teaching those junior luminati at the Haas Business School anyway?
