I don't generally read mbs but I did here because I forwarded the article. Now we can go back and look at previous lbo death penalty threads and discover I oppose capital punishment (in fact, it may be time to recycle an old post). And I'm confident that listers would find my comments reasoned. In this instance, I passed along the article without comment and I did so for reason: I sent it to the list as example of Debordian 'spectacle.' First response (which really initiated thread) was from mbs who appears to say something about almost everything on lbo if my header menu can be believed. He wrote:

Of course, later comments such as those above about 'reasoned argument' suggest that mbs is engaging in cyber-self criticism. Michael Hoover
