That has always seemed to me to be a very good point: the constitution doesn't know about executive agreements, and treaties have a 2/3 majority requirement for a reason...

The post-WWII slide from treaties to "executive agreements" has always seemed to me to be one of the common-law constitutional amendments that has the least going for it...
