Weber, Marx and Goat-Fucking

   And Marx and Engels expressed on many occasions in their correspondence a
quite nasty anti-homosexual prejudice. See the first chapter of the edited
collection, "Gay Men and the History of the Socialist Left, " from
Harrington Press, gathered from articles originally published in the Journal
of Homosexuality.

   And on goat fanciers, remember when after the Soviet intervention in
Afghanistan in '79, Alex Cockburn remarked in The Nation that if ever a
nation deserved to be raped it was Afghanistan, presumably due to those
proclivities. Coarse, if memory serves, the Kinsey Reports in the 40's, gave
some figure that something around a third of all mid-Western and Southern
males had had sexual congress with farm animals.
