Avoiding a Night in Jail
_________________________________________________________________
To the Editor:
People who live, work or visit in New York City realize the need to
take precautions that may not be necessary elsewhere. Your Feb. 6 news
article reporting the arrest of three men who said they were visiting
the cousin of one, and who police conducting a sweep of the building
assumed were trespassers, seems to warrant one additional caution: In
New York, if you want to avoid spending a night in jail, stay out of
buildings.
