oil

I wonder about OPEC. Last year, it succeeded in boosting oil prices mainly because of Saudi and Mexican activism.

And this year there's talk of second thoughts about the effect of higher oil prices on developed economies--mostly coming from the Saudis and the Mexicans. These two states just happen to be the most loyal apprentices of the US out of all the OPEC states.

Am I being too conspiratorial?
