I always thought that the Nobel Prize should be awarded according to which economist does best on the night, rather than basing it on a whole career's work (which unfairly benefits old people who won't be as able to enjoy their prize. Everyone could be made to derive their central theoretical proposition in evening dress, then empirically verify it in swimwear.
Or maybe they should just have a monster truck race. Those trucks are cool.
