Vice-Prez Gore's father was executive of Occidential subsidiary (Island 
Home Coal Co.) and sat on Occidental board, Vice-Prez Gore is Occidental
stockholder, Vice-Prez Gore receives thousands of dollars in royalties 
from Occidential each year for copper, zinc, & germanium ore deposits on 
family 'farm' in Tennessee, Vice-Prez Gore was Clinton 'point man' in 
negotiations that led to Occidental assuming control of federal 
government's 78% share of Elk Hills oil reserve near Bakersfield, CA 
($3.65 billion transaction is largest privatization of federal land in US
