The Usenet newsgroups have been invaded for the past few years by self-proclaimed right-wingers who do nothing but spout this kind of shit.

The Nation recently had an article on David Horowitz quoting him to the effect that the Right should adopt "Stalinist" methods against the Democrats, lumping them with the left, with communism, with socialism, with liberalism. It's a kind of name calling where the Right gets to define the dirty words. Horowitz claims that that is what the "Left" did in the 60s and 70s.

He seems to have convinced morons like Scaife, Simmons, Wyly, and so on. That is pretty much what is happening.

The morons haven't noticed that if that is what the Left did, as Horowitz claims, the Left committed suicide, and that the same tactic should kill the Right.

Let's hope soon.
